Lindt case# 7246213

A Consumer Reports article identified some brands of dark chocolate as having lead contamination above safe levels.

I have been consuming 2 to 4 pieces of Lindt brand dark chocolate almost daily for years.  I have at least three bars in my fridge right now that I am afraid to eat.  I will dispose of them.

I used to eat the Ghirardelli brand, which Consumer Reports identified as safe.  However, in recent years the price of chocolate has gone up quite a bit, and I switched to the Lindt brand because it was cheaper.

Best wishes,

John Coffey
